She said YES!!!

Meet our newest residents (and newly engaged) Carmen and Demitrios. Would you believe it, the proposal actually happened in Northcrest! Here’s how Demitrios popped the question…

“Instead of waiting until our house was complete in September, I did it half way through construction as soon as our roof went on. I left work early on a Friday and set up the house with flowers, candles and balloons. I walked Carmen into where our future lounge room was going to be, grabbed the ring and dropped to one knee. It was all a bit of a blur really and all Carmen could say was “What? Are you sure? Is this a joke?! I think it was almost a minute on my knee before she eventually said YES, it felt like forever”.

With their home now complete, we asked the newly engaged couple what they love about their new home at Northcrest.

“I remember 2/3 years ago when Northcrest was announced, I said to my parents I would buy in and funnily enough it eventuated. The location is superior to any other land offered in Darwin and the drive to my work in town is legitimately 11 minutes in the morning”.

“Over the next 10 years as the development rolls out we will be able to grow our family. Building was always what we wanted and doing it this way gives you a chance to have exactly what you want”.

“With a smaller community in Northcrest, we love our neighbours already and everyone waves to each other. Northcrest has plenty of open grass areas which gives it a great sense of space”.
