On behalf of the Northern Land Council (NLC), we are pleased to announce that works on the new NLC Office Precinct at Northcrest will commence on site shortly with works anticipated to be completed by late 2025.

The NLC purchased Lot 8162 on Julius Street in Northcrest for the purpose of building the Precinct to bring together NLC’s services for the Darwin region by providing a singular cultural hub and consolidating the 3 current Darwin based location into one iconic architecturally design Precinct.

The proposed works include:

• A contemporary 3 storey Office building with 2 levels of underground car parking;
• A light industry Transport Terminal;
• A Warehouse;
• Landscaped gardens with parking
• Outdoor amenities and BBQ area; and
• Internal access roads.

Sunbuild, the local construction company, was awarded the contract to build the Precinct. Works will likely be Monday to Saturday but they are mindful that Northcrest is a residential area, so heavy vehicle traffic will be minimised during peak times.
